This article of the BBC gives a lot of information about palm oil including what is palm oil and how it is produced, reasons of why it's see as a good thing or bad thing and finally possible solutions to deal with the problems of producing massively it and the massively use of it in all kind of products.

In my opinion, I agree with the fact that we shouldn't stop buying products which contain palm oil but, its production should be oversee to guarantee that is sustainable and these products must be properly labelled in order to inform the customer about what is he buying.
