Hi guys,
A short reflection on the limits of having fun with strangers ... or on how much of a moron some people can get. Maybe you heard it too in the news. This is the article I read about creepy clowns: http://mashable.com/2016/10/10/world-clown-association-condemns-creepy-clowns.amp
Yeah, ok, Halloween is coming, but should it mean we are entitled to go around cities and parks scaring the shit out of people there? People we know not, and who didn't enter any kind of game? I don't think so.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised, should this prank persist, that we started to hear about some of these teasers getting into trouble with ordinary people who are now warned about this and don't like to be outraged like that. Particularly in their own veranda or front door.
Finally, one open question. Of all the creepy, halloweenesque creatures in the world, from gory Frankesteins to zombis to mummies, why clowns?

Oh, my God! It's horrible. I'm a clown for children and I've never made-up as a clown with the white face, the big red mouth, etc... because a lot of children are afraid of that. And, in fact, a lot of adults too due to the sinister clowns of films and TV series. But this is worse. It's really creepy.

By the way, Rachel, I am pretty sure you are a lovely clown, but I personally find them quite scary...
I disagree with Maria. Little by little we are getting accustomed to Halloween. More and more "Escuelas infantiles", primary school will organize activities related to.
ReplyDeleteIn my case, I like clowns but not creepy clowns. For me I clown should make you happy or sad but not afraid of. ¡This is not a real clown!
Why clowns? Because clowns are the only characters able to laugh until the foreign fear.
